Samsung is strategically broadening its language support for Galaxy AI and Bixby, aimed at increasing accessibility and usability for a wider user base. This move is set to empower more users to interact with their devices in their preferred language.
Expansion of Galaxy AI Language Features
Galaxy AI is enhancing its language capabilities across various features, specifically those focused on translation, transcription, and summarization. Among the updated features, Call Assist, Note Assist, Interpreter, and Transcript Assist now incorporate Hungarian and Malay, expanding the Live Translate functionality to a total of 24 languages.
In addition, the Now Nudge feature, which proposes relevant actions based on on-screen content, has increased its language offerings by adding eight more languages, thus reaching a total of 24 supported languages.
Expansion of Bixby Language Support
Bixby, Samsung’s intelligent device assistant designed for intuitive device control via natural language, is also set to support additional languages. With the upcoming inclusion of Polish, Thai, and Vietnamese, Bixby’s language support will extend to 12 languages, facilitating easier device management for a broader audience of Galaxy users.
The rollout of Bixby’s new language support is scheduled to commence on October 14, with the expansion of Galaxy AI languages anticipated in the subsequent weeks.
