Samsung Expands One UI 9 Deployment to Optimize User Experience Across Galaxy Devices

Samsung Electronics has initiated the rollout of One UI 9, extending its latest interface to more Galaxy devices, beginning with the Galaxy S26, S26+, and S26 Ultra. This follows its initial release on the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, Fold8, and Flip8, emphasizing a seamless mobile experience and enhanced AI capabilities.

Innovative Features for Enhanced Usability

One UI 9 introduces My FanCam, a tool that automatically tracks and centers a selected person in recorded videos, optimizing content for social media with minimal editing. Additionally, the Generative and Editable Cards on Now Brief allow users to personalize daily summaries with relevant information such as health, weather, and video updates.

The Warranty and Care feature streamlines device support by integrating functions like warranty checks, self-diagnostics, repair estimates, and service appointments within the settings menu.

Optimized Functionality for User Convenience

Building on core Galaxy functionalities, One UI 9 introduces Now Nudge to provide context-aware suggestions, enhancing task efficiency. Creative Studio offers image-generation ideas for upcoming events, while Interpreter’s new Thread View improves the tracking of translated conversations. Document Scan enhances the digitization of materials, and the Voice Recorder now offers structured summaries.

Strengthened Security and Privacy

With a focus on transparency and control, One UI 9 enhances security through Security Brief, offering alerts on malware and unauthorized app permissions. Privacy Alerts expand on-device AI capabilities to identify potential privacy risks, while Scam Detection extends to new regions, including Japan, Canada, and India.

The One UI 9 rollout will continue across additional Galaxy models, with features varying by region, device model, and user settings. Samsung remains committed to providing a personalized and secure user experience, leveraging AI and user-centric design.
